Deposit & Payments:
All bookings through the Bank House Hotel Dungannon must be guaranteed by a credit card. You must enter the credit cards validly and that are legally held by you. Please contact central reservations to secure your reservation. Where a Deposit and booking fee are required to secure your booking, these amounts are debited from your credit card at booking time and are non-refundable. All accounts must be settled prior to or on the day of departure using cash, debit or credit card unless alternative arrangements have been made two weeks prior to the arrival date. Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 12 noon.
All online transactions on our website are handled by Protx (www.protx.com), who provide electronic security concerning your credit card information, name, address and any other personal information you may provide. Bank House Hotel do not have access to any client card details as all transactions, including refunds, are carried out by Protx. Bank House Hotel makes no guaranty of confidentiality or privacy of any communication or information through any act of attempted access or hacking from the Web. Any services purchased by credit card without the cardholder’s permission i.e. fraudulent credit card usage, is the responsibility of the credit card company who issued the card. Please note we take this activity very seriously and will pass on all the required details about unlawful transactions to the proper authorities.
Liability:
Guests’ liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable in the event that any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
Removal of Hotel Property:
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered / interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the hotel, including detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion. Should the fact that fire fighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
Inappropriate Behaviour:
It is the hotel’s policy that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and as a responsible host we believe that we have a duty to our guests to protect them from inappropriate behaviour. Should any actions by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Duty Manager, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Duty Manager, the hotel reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guest actions, the Police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion, or guests may be asked to leave the hotel.
The Client shall pay the Hotel for any food and beverages or other goods and/or services made available upon request on the day of departure.
Cancellation Policy:
Any Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival are charged for the first night’s accommodation. Cancellation for Group bookings of 6 rooms or more must be registered no less than 2 weeks, after which we charge first night’s accommodation per room. Any cancellations should be advised verbally, followed by written confirmation.
The customer does not have the right to be provided with specific rooms. Reserved rooms are available to the customer from 2:00 p.m. on the agreed arrival date. The customer does not have the right to earlier availability. Unless a later time of arrival has been expressly agreed upon or the respective room has been paid in advance Bank House Hotel is entitled to let the booked room to another party after 6:00p.m. without the customer being able to derive a claim against Bank House Hotel from this fact. Rooms must be vacated and made available no later than 12:00 a.m. (midday) on the agreed departure date. After that time, on the grounds of the delayed vacating of the room resulting in use exceeding the contractual time, 50 per cent of the full accommodation rate (list price) for the additional use of the room until 6:00 p.m. may be charged (after 6:00 p.m. 100 per cent)
Vehicles:
All vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk. Should a problem occur with a vehicle in the hotel car park, the hotel cannot accept any liability. If a vehicle is left in the hotel car park for more than 8 hours after the guest has departed without the written consent of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to remove the vehicle at the owners’ expense.
Hotel Amendments / Cancellations:
The Hotel may cancel the booking if;
- 1. The booking might prejudice the reputation of the Hotel;
- 2. The Hotel becomes aware of any deterioration in the client’s financial situation which may cause the client to be unable to fulfill its obligations under this agreement.
In the event of circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control, the hotel reserves the right to vary the prices to an extent that reflects such circumstances. Should the hotel, in the event of circumstances beyond its control, need to make any amendments to the booking, the hotel reserves the right to offer an alternate choice of facilities.
Storage / Personal Property:
The hotel will try wherever possible to assist guests with the storage of equipment, personal property but accept no liability for any damage or loss. The hotel will not accept responsibility for any goods consigned to the hotel or any of its staff in connection with any event.
No food or beverage will be permitted to be brought into the hotel without special permission of the hotel and the hotel reserves the right to make charge for the service.
Licensing and Statutory Regulations:
The hotel must comply with all relevant statues and therefore requires its customers not to act in such a way as would put the hotel in breach of any statue. In particular, customers are reminded to maintain free access to fire exits at all times and not to interfere with or obstruct any fire equipment/ notices during the course of the event.
Please note that extra beds can only be supplied for children aged 3-14 years old and are only available in certain rooms. This will be charged accordingly. Cots are available for babies.
